How does the environmental concerns affect the satisfaction of BRT and Metro users? A moderator analysis

The increase in urban population density, car ownership, and dependency, especially developing countries highlights the need for sustainable public transportation development. This paper aims to recognize factors affecting people’s satisfaction with services including, bus rapid transit (BRT) metro a focus on moderating effect of ‎environmental concerns. ‎Satisfaction is modeled using structural equation modeling approach developed preferences 625 respondents Tehran, Iran 2020. results show direct, significant, ‎with conflicting impacts perceived values service quality BRT users. ‎Further, indicate that contrast BRT, more crucial than value metro. also affected by core physical environment infrastructure While concerning these two variables have similar ‎impacts. Environmental concern negatively moderates relationship between while positively ‎between both systems.
